Begun as a repository for normal pediatric lung development, LungMAP III extended the repository to adults and to include rare diseases including bronchopulmonary dysplasia, chILD, pulmonary hypoplasia and the more common, asthma and COVID pneumonia. All tissues are consented for research and de-identified sharing of data.
BRINDLE receives support from the NIH-National Heart Lung and Blood Institute (NHLBI) as the Human Tissue Core (U01 HL122700 and U01 HL144861) for the Lung Molecular Atlas Program.
